News Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company to present British farce, See How They Run: After more than a year of rehearsing and performing remotely via Zoom, the Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company will return to a live, stage performance for its fall production of the rollicking British farce, See How They Run by Philip King. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 11 and Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 13 and No. 14 at 2 p.m. . |

Highlights
Veterans Week: Wreath Ceremony: Veterans Week will open
with the annual Wreath Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 8, at 11:30
a.m. The ceremony will be held at the Pitt-Greensburg campus flag
poles located in front of Chambers Hall. CSM (Ret.) Bart E.
Womack is the keynote speaker for the ceremony, which
will commemorate the Centennial of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Registration is required.
Veterans Week: The Masks We Live In: A Creative Arts Workshop: The Pitt-Greensburg Green Zone Allies invite the Pitt-Greensburg community to participate in this creative arts workshop. Sarah Jo Wells, in partnership with the Seton Hill Graduate Programs, is coordinating the event. Pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Pitt-Greensburg COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic: Pitt-Greensburg, in partnership with Mainline Pharmacy, will offer five COVID-19 vaccine clinics during the month of November. Members of the campus community and the greater Greensburg community may register to receive the third dose (booster) of the Moderna vaccine at these clinics.
Veterans Week: Reflections of Serive--A Discussion: Four
panelists with a variety of experiences and perspectives
will discuss “The First Casualty: Military Conflict, the
Media, and Public Opinion from WWII to Present Day.” Shaun
Hall, the host and producer of the Veterans Breakfast
Club, will moderate the discussion that will feature
Benjamin Abel, Elizabeth Becker, Todd DePastino, and Justin
Merriman. Please register for this event.
Veterans Week: Film Night: Pitt-Greensburg Veterans Week will include a screening of the movie Flags of Our Fathers for the campus community. Stop by to enjoy popcorn, snacks, and beverages, too. Veterans Week: Try It Out: Stop by Chambers Hall to see what it's like to walk a step or two in a veteran's boots. A cake in honor of our US Armed Services will be served. Veterans Week: Annual Veterans Day Luncheon: The Pitt-Greensburg Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Freshman Honor Society will host its annual Veterans Day Luncheon. Veterans and their family members are welcome to attend this event.
Veterans Week: RED Out: All students, faculty, and
staff are asked to wear RED in support of deployed
military members and their families. RED stands for
Remember Everyone Deployed. Gather at the Chambers Hall
Flag Poles at noon for the campus group photo and red,
white, & blue cookies.
Pitt-Greensburg: Communications Panel: The
Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association is hosting a
Communications Panel that is FREE and open to
all members of the Pitt-Greensburg community. Find
out about careers in communications and how best to
prepare for a job in this field.
Pitt-Greensburg: Are You Talking to Me: From DMs to
Interviews: Are You Talking to Me: From DMs
to Interviews is a FREE panel focused on how to
communicate better professionally. This free
event is open to alumni, students, faculty, and
staff. Students can earn Village and GEM
Credit. Join the PGAA on Monday, November 15 at
6 p.m. in VH118 or on Zoom. Registration is
required.
Pitt-Greensburg Admissions Virtual Nursing Session: During this one-hour virtual session, you will hear from our Director of Nursing, Marie A. Fioravanti, DNP, RN, and our admissions team. This online Zoom session will provide an overview of the Pitt Nursing program, learn about gaining clinical experience, and the job outlook. This information session is offered to all students. For zoom link, registration is required. |
